Coastal Sports and Wellness Medical Center of San Diego is a 12,000 square foot sports medicine facility that provides a comprehensive approach to the care of injuries in runners, cyclists, triathletes and other athletes as well as active patients seeking a medical group that emphasizes wellness.
The Center includes primary care sports medicine and chiropractic physicians specializing in soft-tissue, myofascial release techniques, physical therapists, sports-specific personal trainers, acupuncturists and massage therapists.
Other services at the Center include the Cycling Performance and Fit Center, featuring former Olympic cyclist John Howard, and San Diego’s first Computrainer Multi-Rider indoor cycling class. The Sports Performance Testing section offers video gait analysis, metabolic rate, VO2 max and lactate testing.
Personal training programs range from initial weight-loss and general fitness to sport-specific training from runners, triathletes and cyclists.
