Jennifer Stephens, an Author, has lived a truly extraordinary life. As a child, she endured the horrors of child abuse, which included physical torture, mental cruelty, and near starvation. Upon Jennifers escape in 1987, her family was identified as one of the most severe child abuse cases in Wisconsin's history. When to horror of abuse repeated itself again in 2004, Jennifer could stand this no longer. At age 17, Jennifer's teachers risked their careers to notify the authorities and saved her life from certain death. Upon Jennifer's escape, she was made a ward of the court and placed in foster care until she became what would be her lifelong quest for higher education and she enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1991. Jennifer Stephens is the 2nd oldest of the 16 children and was part of this abusive situation from the very beginning. Jennifer has spent her entire life striving to succeed in spite of the foundation that was laid by her abusive mother. As a young adult Jennifer was determined to better herself--no matter what mountain or land mine laid in her path.

Jennifer's incredible life story is set to be showcased on The Montel Williams Show in 2005, among other Television, Print and Radio programs with hundreds and hundreds of articles written on the plight and triumph over circumstance of her family and herself from 1987 through 2005.

Jennifer continues to be an extreme advocate for social services, foster care, law enforcement, prosecutors and individual members of society that make a difference every single day in the lives of children. In her off duty time, Jennifer offers programs for corporate groups, human services, Child Abuse Prevention Fund in Milwaukee, youth-at-risk, and continues to mentor for womens achievement potential.

Jennifer's positive and aggressive outlook on the never ending quest for continued accomplishments in life, coupled with her wit and sense of humor entertain and encourage men and women to overcome any obstacle while living life to its fullest. Jennifer is a living testament of resilience, faith in humanity, personal responsibility and above all, serving her purpose in life. This is what makes her one of the most exceptional and unequaled entities of today. As an author, presenter, Samaritan and an individual who speaks on the power of positive thinking, Jennifer has dedicated her life helping others to help themselves and to be an advocate for those that cannot advocate for themselves, like her young brothers and sisters.
