Award-Winning Urban Re:Vision Takes to the Streets to Provide Low-Income Residents with Free, Energy-Efficient CFL Light Bulbs

Urban Re:Vision volunteers will visit over 40 homes in San Francisco’s Bayview District to exchange incandescent bulbs with energy-efficient CFL bulbs. Local residents will also be given the opportunity to take part by bringing their old bulbs to the Urban Re:Vision staging area for disposal in exchange for new CFL bulbs. The 1,000 distributed bulbs will result in a collective savings to residents of over $15,000 a year. - August 18, 2007
