Description:
MAYO Communication's Employee Grapevine
an interactive radio network

"I heard it through the Grapevine!"

Reality:

It's no secret that word of mouth is the fastest and best form of communication. Literally everyone is an expert in communication. Many people think written communication is the Corporation's primary focus. It is not, because people don't like to read -- they would
rather discuss a significant issue, not just read about it.

What is the Employee Grapevine?

The Employee Grapevine is a telephone line that is accessible to all employees of company. The dial-in radio program runs 3 - 5 minutes and includes stories not found in the company employee newsletter or through E-mail. A short message, or newscast, is recorded. At the end of the weekly broadcast, employees are invited to leave questions or suggestions after the tone. It is these comments which dictate the format of the stories.

What does the Employee Grapevine do?
Gives employees the most up-to-date information about the company

Informs employees of coming events

Helps employees understand the meaning of significant issues

Provides instant feedback about the accuracy of information

Encourages employees to communicate verbally

And much more...

The Employee Grapevine can be reached by simply dialing a designated phone number.
Tell them you "heard it through the Grapevine!"
