Oshenite™, is a natural renewable material with a 50% application in bioplastics. The brand is the exclusive trademark of U.S. Aragonite Enterprises, and comes from oolitic aragonite that is naturally precipitated at Ocean Cay in the Bahama waters as an ultra pure 97%-99% calcium carbonate with extremely low levels of trace elements such as Iron and lead and a unique crystalline structure. It can be used in all the niches as traditionally mined or precipitated calcium carbonate, but at higher concentrations with application benefits.
