Kim Tinkham Receives First Annual Civility Star Award

Publisher of Wise Woman Magazine Receives Civility Star Award from AICI-South Central Chapter

Boyd, TX, May 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Kim Tinkham, Publisher of Wise Woman Magazine has been named as the recipient of the South Central Chapter of Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) First Annual Civility Star Award. This award coincides with AICI’s pledge to draw public awareness and dedication to the principles of Civility.

Deborah King with the South Central Chapter of AICI presented the award. "Kim Tinkham, Publisher of Wise Woman Magazine, was selected to receive the Civility Star Award based on her continuing efforts to support local businesses within her area. Her passion for educating, motivating, and connecting local business owners to support each other and keep business local is truly a model of civility. Kim is a master of connecting people and building relationships among the community, always speaking the best of everyone and demonstrating the principles of civility," King stated.

AICI is the Source for Image Professionals in Education, Experience and Excellence. It is the leading and largest professional association of personal and corporate image consultants worldwide. A nonprofit organization, AICI is dedicated to advancing the level of professionalism and enhancing the recognition of image consultants. AICI initially launched the Civility Counts Project during their 2009 Annual Conference held in Irvine, California. At that time AICI guaranteed to “spread the word” about Civility, both internally with chapter members around the world, and to the public regions they serve.
