)-- 1on1 Boxing Fitness, Mesa’s premier boxing fitness facility, today announced details of its Amateur Boxing Program. Through custom-tailored, all-inclusive training, the 1on1 Boxing Fitness Amateur Boxing Program prepares trainees to become competitive boxers.
“The 1on1 Boxing Fitness Amateur Boxing Program differs from the other amateur boxing programs because it is a comprehensive program specifically tailored to improve each trainee’s unique abilities,” said certified sports conditioning specialist and 1on1 Boxing Fitness Owner Christopher Terry. “The program improves punching power, explosiveness, speed and agility.”
The 1on1 Boxing Fitness Amateur Boxing Program prepares fighters to compete at the highest levels nationally and internationally through two-hour training sessions four to five days a week. Fighters practice skill and strength training, sparring, anaerobic conditioning drills, running and plyometrics. Fighters can expect to participate in monthly local fights and tournaments with the possibility of advancing to regional and then national tournaments.
The 1on1 Boxing Fitness Amateur Boxing Program is open to anyone at least 9-years-old.
Boxers can train at 1on1 Boxing Fitness Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 4p.m. Registered amateur fighters pay $80.00 a month to train.
1on1 Boxing Fitness is a member of USA BOXING, United States Amateur Boxing, Inc., the nationally governing body for Olympic-style boxing. 1on1 Boxing Fitness fighters must obtain a USA Amateur Boxing Passbook in order to compete.
