Monterey, CA, March 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- RISE Leadership Forum, an exclusive women’s leadership development program, will be hosting a complimentary dinner on March 22nd, 2012, at Balesteri's at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch (located at 10520 York Road in Monterey) to showcase the organization to prospective members.

RISE is seeking emerging women leaders and business owners to participate in the eight month program beginning in April in Monterey. The program, created by national leadership expert, Sheila Dundon, meets once monthly in a full day session to fully develop the leadership potential of each participant.

“Women executives aren’t waiting to be plucked from the pack and groomed by senior management to fill a top role of an organization,” says Dundon. “Instead, today’s women need to find their own way, capitalize on their own potential, promote their personal brand, galvanize vast resources, and develop meaningful peer group relationships in order to rise and stay at the top.”

A fundamental aspect of RISE is the high-level peer-to-peer discussions and mentoring. Small groups of women executives and entrepreneurs are brought together from non-competing companies to discuss and explore topics in a confidential and trusting environment. Each session is facilitated personally by Dundon allowing the members to speak candidly about their companies and individual leadership challenges and work toward problem-solving, strategic thinking, and creating new opportunities. “Where can a CEO go to explore ideas and problems without risking existing relationships with her board or employees?” asks Dundon as she explains the worth of this valuable peer mentoring experience.

“That’s all in addition to getting our jobs done,” Dundon explains. “RISE brings all the elements together to create an efficient process to develop, refine, and expand my client’s companies and my careers.”

Prospective members are encouraged to register online at riseleadershipforum.com to attend the introductory evening at Balesteri's at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch located at 10520 York Road in Monterey on March 22nd, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to learn all about the features of the program. Guests will be provided with a complimentary healthy dinner and there will be a full no-host bar available.

The program begins with a comprehensive leadership skill assessment that is used to create a baseline from which to measure progress. Each month features a core topic explored by readings, member-only online resources, session discussions, skill development exercises, problem solving sessions, and lectures. Functional experts are often brought to add specialized training and insight.
