"Momnesia" to Cause Epidemic of Sexy Moms This Spring

Finding balance between “momminess” and “sexiness” is something many moms find challenging, often setting aside one’s own needs in favor of family responsibilities. However, this spring there may be an “epidemic” of moms finding their sexy side. Author Lori Verni-Fogarsi’s novel, “Momnesia,” released 3/16/12, is expected to be a blowout hit with women of all ages, as well as a top pick for book clubs.

Raleigh, NC, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The story is about an unconventional entrepreneur who, struggling between her “momminess” and her “sexiness,” diagnoses herself with Momnesia and sets about finessing a new version of her old vivaciousness. She does find some adventure pursuing her own interests, but it isn’t until she tosses the Invisible Rule Book altogether that she discovers life--and love--have more to offer than she ever imagined.

Early readers have described the book as, “Fun & feisty!” and “A wonderful journey laced with humor and reality.” Published by Brickstone Publishing, it can be found online and in stores everywhere.

When asked what gave her the idea for “Momnesia,” Verni-Fogarsi says, “I went through a time when I, myself, as well as several friends, were going through divorces or other life transitions that led to various aspects of self-discovery. It occurred to me that if one could look at these things from the outside in, they could be both funny and enlightening. As a reader of women’s fiction, I enjoy the sense of feeling understood, and I hope my readers will feel that way too.”

Verni-Fogarsi has been a freelance writer, journalist, columnist and seminar speaker for 15+ years. “Momnesia” is her debut novel and she is the author of the nonfiction book, “Everything You Need to Know About House Training Puppies and Adult Dogs,” which has been widely acclaimed in its genre. Verni-Fogarsi is a happily married mom of two, step mom of two more, and has two cats, both rotten.

“Momnesia” features a Reader’s Discussion Guide, Interview With the Author, and a sneak peek at her next book. With custom-painted cover art that tells the story at a glance, this widely anticipated release is sure to stir up the fun this spring. Verni-Fogarsi invites readers to enjoy the first two chapters free and check out her other goodies at www.LoriTheAuthor.com.
