Charlotte, NC, June 18, 2012 --(
PR.com)-- mailVU’s online video service has been selected by RevTech Labs to provide a platform for area tech startup entrepreneurs to give ‘elevator pitches’ as part of their application to RevTech’s incubator program.
RevTech Labs offers a three-month program for mobile, web, and software startups to launch. As part of the initiative, new companies will be given free workspace, mentorship, and programs geared to developing their businesses. The program will take place within Packard Place, a co-working space in Uptown Charlotte, and include 7-10 new tech companies. The initial class launches July 2.
“We are pleased to be selected for RevTech Labs’ application process,” said mailVU CEO Alan Fitzpatrick. “mailVU's video recorder was an easy installation onto their website, and anyone with a webcam can easily record a video application, without an account, password, or download.”
Prospective participants are encouraged to visit www.revtechlabs.com/applicaton to give their two-minute pitch or go to www.mailVU.com to create their video. Additionally, mailVU will be one of the companies providing mentorship to the selected startups.
“mailVU’s platform is an incredibly useful resource for RevTech Labs,” said Adam Hill, director of Packard Place. “It gives us the ability to accept secure videos from applicants and to distribute those videos to the review committee easily. It’s a far more professional solution than any other video product we considered.”
