Interactive Training Solutions Offers First Improv for Business Workshop in Miami

Miami, FL, July 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Interactive Training Solutions, LLC, South Florida’s corporate training, team building and executive coaching firm utilizing improvisation, is offering its Improv for Business (Bizprov), one-day workshop, on Friday, August 24, 2007 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Conrad Miami in Miami’s Brickell business district.

Improv for Business uses improv comedy as the basis for team building and corporate training through role-playing. The workshop takes the unique approach of incorporating the rules and structure of improvisation to create a fun yet educational environment, where participants can learn from each other by tackling challenging “real world” scenarios in the relative safety of a meeting room.

David Suarez, President and CEO of Interactive Training Solutions explains, “How many times have you looked back on the way you handled a situation and thought ‘I wish I would have done this or that differently’? Improv for Business is built on taking those scenarios and finding real solutions to them, by using the feedback and suggestions of other workshop participants. What we do is to help people break down these worst-case scenarios the same way an improviser would, and then make them turn out the way it should have happened. It’s essentially rehearsal for succeeding in the business world.”

Improv for Business (Bizprov) and David Suarez were featured in the recently published, The Actor’s Other Career Book by Lisa Mulcahy. Mr. Suarez has been facilitating the workshop for the past five years with Just The Funny Improv Comedy Theatre Company for such organizations as: Taco Bell, Bayer CropScience, Honeywell and Miami Dade College. The August offering of Improv for Business marks the first time the workshop has been offered in the Brickell area, and the open to the public workshop offering from Interactive Training Solutions.

Improv for Business (Bizprov) is open to the public and the price for attending is $150 per person, as space is limited due to the workshop’s small participant size. The workshop runs a full day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and offers improv-based team building, corporate training and networking.
