The CDC has asked Kaiser Permanente to begin the nation's first epidemiologic study of "Morgellons Disease", which they consider an "unexplained and debilitating condition that has emerged as a public health concern." The CDC says they want the nationwide study to be focused in the Bay Area because 24% of Morgellons patients "reside in California with geographic clustering in the San Francisco metropolitan area." Results for this urgent epidemiologic investigation will be due next May.

Cliff Mickelson, arguably the most prolific writer, radio guest and Morgellons researcher will offer his take on the CDC's actions, and what it may mean for Morgellons and it's sufferers.
