Hometown Urgent Care Offers Free Sports Physical Clinics in Ohio and Michigan June 28 and 29

The average family pays almost $700 a year for each child that participates in youth sports. Hometown Urgent is helping reduce this cost by offering free sport physicals in select Hometown Urgent Care clinics June 28 and 29, 2014.

Columbus, OH, June 26, 2014 --( According to a report released by tax software company Turbo Tax, the average parent spends more than $670 a year Per Child on sports equipment, practice space, lessons and fees. And the process begins now, as athletes on both school and community teams line up for state required sports physicals.

Sport physicals can range from free for an assembly-line clinic to more than $100, but Columbus-based Hometown Urgent Care is providing student athletes with a quality, one-on-one physical with a medical provider recommended by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) at No Cost.

“It is not only important for all student-athletes to receive a pre-participation physical, it is mandatory,” said Dr. Harry Nguyen of Hometown Urgent Care. “This is a good opportunity for us to give back to our community and ensure that all of our local student-athletes are prepared for the upcoming school year.”

Hometown Urgent Care will host free sports physical clinics at the following locations on the following days:
Delaware, OH 1100 Sunbury Road Saturday, June 28, 9 am to 5 pm
