Lillybee Launches "Lillybee Gives" Program

Washington, DC, January 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Lillybee, a nationally recognized fashion brand offering collegiate footwear and accessories to 72 universities and 19 sororities, today announced the launch of its Lillybee Gives program. The new national program establishes a partnership between the company, charitable organizations and their donor bases. The program helps charities create public awareness while simultaneously raising funds for their respective organizations.

In discussing the program, CEO Kassie Rempel stated, “Lillybee Gives is a natural extension of our brand which focuses on uniting lifestyle with loyalties. We are thrilled to launch Lillybee Gives with UWIB as our inaugural partner. As a woman owned business, it is an honor to support such a wonderful organization with aligned interests of supporting women in business. We look forward to helping UWIB create awareness for their cause, while driving financial support for their outstanding organization.”

For every shoe sold through the Lillybee Gives program, UWIB will receive 25% of gross sales. Lillybee will also donate in-kind shoes to the organization. Through the activation of their donor base, UWIB stands to receive over $10,000 in cash donations from Lillybee. “We are proud to give back to organizations that our team and our customers support. UWIB is a natural partner given their work to empower women in business. It is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts, and we thank UWIB for their mission and efforts,” said Michiel Perry, Director of Lillybee Gives.

"United Women in Business is excited to leverage our partnership with Lillybee Gives to raise awareness for our organization and increase fundraising efforts. We are proud to be their inaugural partner and look forward to watching them expand in the near future."

Lillybee plans on rapidly expanding the Gives program with other charitable partners post launch. The company currently supports over 91 collegiate organizations - helping them drive licensing revenue in support of on and off campus initiatives. “This is another way for us to give back as an organization and expand awareness of great causes doing great things for our communities. More than helping people look good, we want to do good. It’s our honor to be able to use our resources to support non-profit initiatives,” said co-founder Lisa Palmer.
