St. Louis' own Willie Macc beginning to make his mark on Hollywood. This actor / comedian that got his start in Reality TV has just signed on to appear in his 5th movie in less than a year.

Los Angeles, CA, March 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Actor / Comedian Willie Macc has agreed to a role in "Chicago Pulaski Jones". The film, starring Kel Mitchel ("Kenan & Kel Show") is being directed by Cedric the Entertainer, who will appear in the film as well.

Best known as the funnyman on the hit Reality TV show, BET College Hill Virgin Islands, Willie Macc has also appeared on the small screen in CSI and Journeyman. A newcomer to Hollywood, this marks the 5th film in a year that Willie Macc has had a role in or has signed on to appear in ("Meet the Spartans", "House Arrest", "The Scorpion", "Hacking Hollywood" and "Chicago Pulaski Jones").

"Chicago Pulaski Jones", which begins shooting on Monday, March 10, 2008, was written by Kel Mitchel and Janice Woody. Mitchel, Woody, Mathew Gray and veteran producer Eric C. Rhone ("Code Name: The Cleaner", "The Honeymooners", "Johnson Family Vacation") will serve as the film's producers.

With his cameo appearance in "Meet the Spartans" as a "Yo Mama" joke cracking opponent of the Spartan army, his co-starring role as the Chris Tucker-like side kick in the Friday-like comedy "House Arrest" (which is anticipated to release on dvd early summer), and the three new movies that he begins shooting this month ("Chicago Pulaski Jones") and next month ("The Scorpion" and "Hacking Hollywood"), Willie Macc appears to be successfully making the transition from that of Reality TV star to working actor.
