Denver, CO, January 24, 2019 --(PR.com
)-- Jammy Man and his brother Tumbly Tumbler are embarking on a musical adventure in a rollicking new animated series, premiering on Colorado Public Television (CPT12), Saturday, January 25, 2019 at 9:28 PM. Executive Produced by Colorado Musician and Educator, Paul Trunko with Worker Studio LLC, the series vividly brings to life songs from the Jammy Man Band’s albums for families.
This blend of Americana, Roots Music, Bluegrass, Folk and Acoustic songs are a rich playground for storytelling and themes to captivate the imagination of kids and families with thoughtful content. In premiering pilot episode for the song “Pick It Up,” Jammy Man, Tumbly and friends colorfully explore important ideas in conservationism. The entirety of the albums, Jammy Man and Tumbly Tumbler, both available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and CD Baby, lyrically celebrates themes such as diversity, history and just good old fashion... squish parties?
For Jammy, Tumbly and everyone involved - it's all about the music, man. That’s why the series readily found a underwriting partner in Swallow Hill Music. As a music educator at Swallow Hill for almost 25 years, Trunko has instilled a shared core value in thousands of students - bringing the joy of music to life everyday. Together, Trunko, Worker Studio and Swallow Hill believe this series will be a vehicle for educating and inspiring families in musical traditions, through splendid animation.
So, if you love music, positive vibes, nerding-out on PBS, or even just want to know what a Squish Party is, stay tuned for Jammy Man. The series will also be available online, on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and elsewhere, all linked from the official website.
