Mark Okada
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Okada is the Chief Investment Officer of Highland Capital Management L.P. based in Dallas, TX. Mr. Mark Okada is responsible for overseeing Highland Capital Management's investment activities for its various strategies, and has over 20 years of experience in the leveraged finance market. Prior to Highland Capital Management, Mr. Mark Okada served as Manager of Fixed Income for Protective Life’s GIC subsidiary from 1990 to 1993. Mr. Okada was responsible for a loan portfolio and other risk assets.
From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Mark Okada served as Vice President for Hibernia National Bank, managing over $1 billion of high yield bank loans. Mr. Mark Okada is an honors graduate of the University of California Los Angeles; he has degrees in Economics and Psychology.
