About Zorica

Our success story starts in early 1960, in a small village of former Yugoslavia, when Zorica was barely 7 years old she created hear first face cream. Today even more than ever she is passionate about creating natural products that can help empower an individual's life.
After her successful modeling career in Milan and London, Zorica found herself in Malibu, California working as a beauty advisor for a European cosmetic company. During this time, Zorica discovered that customers desire a simpler skin care regime. Customers would often comment, "Do I really need to use all of these?" "Is there something simpler for me to use?", or "I don't have time to do all these steps." She became determined to create a line of skin care products that would be simpler to use. Zorica wanted a product that was natural and easy to use that gives results. Having very sensitive and dry skin herself, Zorica knew the challenges she was about to face.

Studying Chemistry and working as a beauty consultant, Zorica's knowledge of skin care expanded. After two years of research and testing, Zorica of Malibu, three simple steps to beautiful skin was born.

In the year of 2001 Zorica became chronically ill due to exposure to toxic substances, and was bed ridden for a long time. During her recovery process she found out that she was not able to use bath or body products that were on the market. Due to her extensive training and experience in skin care Zorica started creating hear own natural bath and body products without any artificial fragrances or chemical fillers. She was successful in creating superior products without toxic affect. Zorica of Malibu products are ideal for chemical or fragrance sensitive individuals... Zorica believes in freshness; her products are made in small batches.

Zorica's love for nature was with her since her childhood, she is very concerned about our fragile environment. You won't find Zorica of Malibu products packaged in a box that is tossed away as soon a customer brings the product home. She strongly believes that the quality should be in the product, not in the packaging. These days you will find Zorica at the stores talking to the customers, passing her knowledge to them and at same time discovering what their next need is.


A letter from Zorica

Our skin, like our body, is very complex and needs to be nourished from the outside as well as from the inside. Recently researchers and scientist are beginning to recognize the value of vitamins and minerals in skin care product. Studies indicate that when taken orally , the levels of vitamins and minerals that reach the skin are very low, so topical application may be more necessary in preserving the health and beauty of our skin.
As we age we lose moisture in our skin, and the skin also loses two proteins that keep it firm, elastic and resilient. Collagen and Elastin are proteins under the top layer of the skin that begin to deteriorate as we age or subject our skin to environmental stress (e.g. sun, pollution, smoking, stress, alcohol, a low protein diet). Collagen is the primary component of the dermis, the network of fibers that provide a framework that allows the growth of new cells, supporting the structure of our skin.

Cells having this connective support are able to be produced, leading to tissue restoration. Many factors such as vitamins, minerals and other substances affect the synthesis of Collagen. Anti-oxidants are an important part of the cell's protection system, they work by allowing themselves to be attacked and damaged by free-radicals (highly reactive and unstable molecules) sparing the cells, so premature aging can be prevented. Recent studies have confirmed the necessity of topically delivering vitamin E&C directly to the dermis with the following results: Vitamin C stimulates Collagen synthesis leading to an increase of skin elasticity, vitamin E enhances skin smoothness by strengthening the skin's upper layer to help it retain natural moisture. With this knowledge I selected those ingredients.
