**Press Release**
Music Industry News Network, August 2002

After completing law school a semester early, Damian Elahi proceeded directly to an entertainment legal practice at LaPolt Law P.C. Damian counsels the firm’s diverse clientele that includes recording artists, film, television, and record producers, personal managers, composers, and independent record labels. In doing so, Damian applies his unique perspective of the creative and business aspects of the entertainment industry. That perspective was developed from such endeavors as USC School of Cinema-Television coursework, employment with a number of Academy Award-winning producers, independent screenwriting and screenplay coverage, authoring various industry publications, drumming in a rock band (Suspect Class), and producing a 30-minute short film (The Boss). Personally, Damian enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and works of art, whatever forms they may take.
