Biography

Gene Sartin

Mr. Sartin is The Transition Companies’ (“TTC”) President and CEO. His responsibilities include managing strategic growth through identifying and developing new business opportunities, overseeing the management of existing client relationships, executing M&A transactions, and directing the senior management team. As a business owner and entrepreneur, Mr. Sartin has worked with businesses across many industry sectors and in both public and privately held companies. This experience ranges from turnaround consulting to Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

In 1977, Mr. Sartin was the founder of the Commercial Interior Division of Sabine Industries, a construction company that later sold to ACMAT Corporation, a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: ACMT). He then transitioned into an executive role at ACMAT Corp, managing acquisitions, divestitures and corporate development strategies. After several years, Mr. Sartin took his expertise and experience to the middle market by forming his own turn around and management consulting firm, which focused on value creation and exit strategies, including M&A advisory services. That firm later merged with RMA Consulting and Interprise M&A to become The Transition Companies.

Mr. Sartin attended the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating with a focus in Finance and did MBA studies at the University of Houston.
