Speaker Gideon Demiglio was born with no arms and half legs and relies on a wheelchair to get around. Gideon is fully equipped for a life that’s anything but ordinary. The CDC estimates that about 1,900 of the 3.6 million babies born in the United States each year have upper or lower limb differences, with even fewer experiencing both.
