| I'm a freelance writer with more than 15 years of experience. Prior to writing full-time, I worked as a consulting engineer in the nuclear and environmental industries. I hold a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of North Dakota. During my professional career I took many training classes including safety analysis, hazard assessment, transportation, and environmental regulation. To broaden my writing expertise, I completed two writing courses through the Institute for Children's Literature and am enrolled in an Accelerated Copywriting course through American Writers and Artists Institute. |
