Houston, TX, May 31, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Energy Maintenance Services Group I, LLC (EMS Group) has appointed James Croft to serve as general manager of Croft Services, a provider of flow measurement and gas control products, services and systems. In this position, Croft leads the company’s business development and operations.

“With his expertise in gas measurement and strong understanding of customer needs, James is a great addition to our leadership team,” said Tim Nesler, CEO of EMS Group.

Croft Services recently became a wholly owned subsidiary of EMS Group. Based in Kirvin, Texas, Croft Services was founded in 1987 by Frank Croft. It supplies, installs and maintains a range of products including electronic flow meters, hydrogen sulfide monitors, separators, dehydrators, and pneumatic safety systems. The Croft Services headquarters will remain in Kirvin.

“We were attracted to EMS Group because they share our philosophy that customers deserve leading edge technology and the highest level of service from our people in the field,” said Frank Croft, who will remain with the company in a consulting role. “The only change customers will notice is that Croft Services will have expanded capabilities to serve them as their needs grow and their pipeline operations become more complex.”

James Croft joined Croft Services in 1997 and initiated its entrance into the electronic flow measurement market.

“We are excited to offer customers a more comprehensive range of pipeline operations and maintenance services than ever before,” said James Croft. “We expect keen customer interest in PGAS-WebView™, the Internet-based natural gas meter tracking and data management system.”

PGAS-WebView works with a user’s EFM meters to track data hourly 24-hours a day and make it available through a secure, password-protected Internet portal.
