PR.com)-- Kelly Markiewicz is a 24 year-old clothing designer who started her own clothing line called Kween. Kween by Kelly Markiewicz is a new clothing line that reflects vintage fashions. Kween takes one of a kind looks from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's and re-creates them for the modern woman. Kween is a contemporary vintage-inspired line for the woman who is original, a trendsetter, loves vintage clothing, and who has a distinctive fashion sense.
Markiewicz started Kween because all the vintage pieces she felt so passionate about seem to be, if at all available, so hard to find. Therefore, she knew something had to be done. During Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week in October 2004, Markiewicz showed her new Spring/Summer 2005 line and got great feedback and support. Since October 2004, Kween has already been featured in/on California Apparel News, Fox 11, Variety, E!, Lemonade Magazine, Lucky, Calabasas Magazine, in addition to many more publications.
