SF Welcomes First Ever International Design Fashion Week

South Africa, Philippines, Paris and India to Show at US International Fashion Week

San Francisco, CA, August 02, 2005 --(PR.com)-- International Fashion Industries, Inc. announced today the confirmed designers who will show their Spring 2006 Collection at San Francisco International Fashion Week (SFIFW) to be held on October 21-23, 2005 at Fort Mason on the San Francisco waterfront.

The 2006 Spring Collection designer line up will include Gaspard Yurkievich (France), Isabelle Ballu (France), Afshin Feiz (France), Sebastien Meunier (France), Pierre-Henri Mattout (Paris), Paul Munroe (South Africa), Black Coffee (South Africa), Shantanu & Nikhil (India), Malini Ramani (India), Manish Arora (India), Payal Jain (India), Rajo Laurel (Philippines), Joseph Domingo (USA), Cari Borja (USA), and Lloyd Klein (USA).

SFIFW will feature exclusive fashion shows showcasing Spring 2006 Prêt-à-Porter collections from the industry’s top international names, an awards luncheon where the SFIFW Committee will present a “International Lifetime Achievement Award” and an “International Designer of the Year Award” to two of the participating designers, top-notch entertainment beginning with a series of kick-off parties hosted by Designer Lloyd Klein and Black Book Magazine on a Hornblower Yacht and spectacular post-show events. SFIFW is expected to bring some of the world’s most influential retailers and media to The San Francisco Bay Area.
