Custom Coils to Acquire HVC, Inc.

Alcester, SD, September 06, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Custom Coils, a custom magnetic design and manufacturing company, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the assets of HVC, Inc., a manufacturer of high voltage ceramic capacitors. HVC, Inc. manufactures the largest variety of high voltage, disc style ceramic capacitors in the industry.

The acquisition expands Custom Coils offerings in the passive component industry. HVC’s high voltage capacitors will compliment the high voltage transformers manufactured by Custom Coils.

The transaction is expected to be complete within the next 30 days. HVC will continue to operate as an independent brand under the trade name HVC and unique URL: www.hvcap.com. The operation will continue to manufacture at its current location in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
