Forte Consultancy Group Hires Managing Director
Istanbul, Turkey, June 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Forte Consultancy Group, the preeminent provider of analytics-driven marketing and sales consultancy services in the EMEA region, today announced the hiring of Erkut Erkut as its global Managing Director.
As Managing Director, Mr. Erkut will be responsible for supporting Forte Consultancy Group’s operations in the region, playing a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy over the coming years. In this role, Mr. Erkut will also be involved in driving talent acquisition, as well as in business development activities.

With over 15 years of professional experience in business development and marketing, Mr. Erkut has a proven track record of profitable business line management. Mr. Erkut has managed and been involved in projects in more than 50 different countries.
Prior to working for Forte Consultancy Group, he was the Chief Telecoms Business Officer of Mobilera, responsible for loyalty-community programs, mobile marketing, and advertising platforms, as well as for supporting business development activities to foster MVNOs, online social networks, e/m-commerce, and new mobile marketing models, etc.
He has served as the Head of Consumer Marketing at Vodafone Turkey, where he was responsible for Consumer Segment revenues; as such, Mr. Erkut oversaw pricing & promotions-related efforts, handset strategies, commercial planning, international & roaming business, ethnic offers, and competitive intelligence.
Mr. Erkut has also served as the Division Head of Inter-operator Business and Business Development of Turkcell, where he managed roaming & international business as well as interconnection and international business development activities of the operator.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Erkut was the Deputy General Manager of TeliaSonera Eurasia (Fintur), where he was responsible for managing acquisition projects of telecom operators and licenses, strategic planning, internal audit, and operational efficiency. He also briefly served as the Business Development Director of Cukurova Holding.
Mr. Erkut holds an MBA from Iowa State University, where he focused on international marketing and finance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Bogazici University, in the field of international politics and political science.
