Albuquerque Named to Leadership Greater Manchester Committee

Manchester, NH, May 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Leadership Greater Manchester announced today that Next Step Orthotics and Prosthetics President Matthew J. Albuquerque, CPO, has been named to the Leadership Greater Manchester Steering Committee of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

In his role on the committee, Albuquerque will help coordinate the program’s Health Day, which provides emerging state leaders with the opportunity to explore multiple facets of the state’s healthcare system.

“I’m extremely excited to be named to a committee that is doing so much to equip the next generation of leaders with the information and experience they need to make a meaningful difference in their communities,” Albuquerque said. “I have a real passion for health care and look forward to sharing the lessons I’ve learned with not only the committee, but also the students who will be able to affect change now and in the future.” Albuquerque was also recently elected as a member of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.

Albuquerque, a Bedford resident and 2006 graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester program, is an ABC certified practitioner in orthotics and prosthetics with more than 14 years experience. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stonehill College, North Easton, Massachusetts. He received his orthotic training at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center through the University of California and his prosthetic training at Northwestern University.
