Katherine Armstrong is an experienced consumer information attorney and has been with the Federal Trade Commission for over 25 years. As an attorney advisor to former Chairman and Commissioners for over 15 years and as a senior attorney, she has wide-ranging FTC experience in law enforcement and policy making with expertise in the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Section 5 of the FTC Act.

Ms Armstrong works in the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection where she manages Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) initiatives, including law enforcement investigations, consent negotiations, rulemakings, and other interpretive policy tasks.
