Alsobrooks Promotes “Just Ahead” Slogan on New Site
Banner Elk, NC, December 01, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Dave Alsobrooks recently unveiled a new website pushing "Just Ahead" as the slogan. Dave is a freelance artist in North Carolina. The new site focuses on illustration, photography, design and painting.
“The next chapter is just ahead.” So says the bio page at davealsobrooks.com, the new website for freelance artist, Dave Alsobrooks. “Just ahead” became the slogan for Alsobrooks’ identity after a trip to England earlier this year.
“I was concepting any number of more complex organization systems for the wesbite at the time,” says Alsobrooks. “The roundabout was a great way to take the online viewer through my main areas of expertise. From there, the theme of everything being just ahead evolved.”
The new site focuses on illustration, photography, design and painting. There are several other areas of the site to explore including self-promotional campaigns and art projects from previous years. “It’s my first online presence,” says Alsobrooks, “and I hope it will continue to provide a fun and interesting way to showcase my work. Like everything in life, it’s just ahead.”
Alsobrooks, a former art-director at an advertising agency, hopes to gradually evolve the site with more experimental content. Intuitive experiences are in his plans as well as mini-sites within the theme of the current roundabout site. He intends for the site to be a permanent creative outlet for himself. And others.
Dave Alsobrooks has an extensive print and traditional advertising background. He believes advertising has moved beyond traditional means – that the industry is faced with making content that is sought out rather than ignored. He spent the past five years as an art director working in a variety of industries: entertainment, transport, health care, technology, pharmaceutical and corporate.
Currently, he is pursuing photography/illustration/design on his own for a variety of clients.
