About Dana A. Brown
Dana A. Brown was appointed President of the National Security Associates Worldwide (NSAWW) in July of 2009. He retired from his position as Director of the Federal Air Marshals and Assistant Administrator for Law Enforcement at the Transportation Security Administration just before his appointment with NSAWW. He had also served as Chief of Staff of the Federal Air Marshal Service for three years. During his service with the agency, he was honored with the DHS Silver Medal Award and the TSA John W. Magaw Values Award. Prior to that, he was a Marine who served with distinction and earned the Purple Heart for service in Vietnam. Mr. Brown attained his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia. He has 3 decades of experience in complex criminal investigations, executive protection operations, protective intelligence, inspections and audits, crisis/consequence management, and continuity of operation. He is associated with the National Association of Chiefs of Police, the American Society for Industrial Security and the Association for Former Agents of the U.S. Secret Service.
