The Chairmen’s RoundTable Welcomes the Beyster Institute as Strategic Partner

Both organizations are committed to helping companies build successful business models.

San Diego, CA, February 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Chairmen’s RoundTable (CRT), a San Diego non-profit organization that provides pro-bono mentoring and strategic advice to the region’s businesses, announced a strategic partnership with the Beyster Institute at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management.

The group will partner with CRT to help local companies build successful business models.

“We are very excited about this relationship,” said Steven Mendell, CRT’s Chairman. “The Beyster Institute shares our passion for helping local companies succeed. Each partner we have extends our reach into the community. In turn, we are a valuable resource they can pull into the mix when working with companies that have come to them for assistance. And we can direct CRT client companies to these partners for additional support. Our alliances make us all more effective at what we do – which is strengthening San Diego, one company at a time.”

The Beyster Institute at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management works to advance the understanding and practice of employee ownership as an effective and responsible business model. It focuses on education, research, and consulting to promote employee ownership and the creation of effective ownership cultures. The Beyster Institute serves companies interested in the employee ownership business strategy, business owners looking to transition out of their companies and professional advisers who want to better serve their clients by gaining employee ownership knowledge. “We’re proud to partner with the Chairmen's RoundTable,” said Martin Staubus, consultant, the Beyster Institute. “Bob Beyster, founder of Science Applications International Corporation, demonstrated the power of employee stock ownership by growing SAIC from start-up to the Fortune 500. Through our partnership with CRT, we can bring this knowledge and insight to the companies being advised by CRT. At the same time, the CRT’s broad range of mentoring and strategic advice can benefit the companies we work with – companies that are seeking a path to take their business to the next level.”
