Harbour Pointe Golf Club Hosts Free Community Golf Event Saturday, June 8

Fairfield Harbour Golf Course Invites Members of the Community to Tour Driving Range, Clubhouse, Outing Pavilion and Pool

New Bern, NC, May 31, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that Harbour Pointe Golf Club and Billy Casper Golf will host a free community golf event on Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the resort-style 18-hole, par-72 championship course located within the community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the clubhouse facility, outing pavilion and pool, course and driving range during the event. Michael Cooper, general manager of Harbour Pointe Golf Club, and his professional assistant will offer free lessons on the club’s driving range. Members of the Men’s Golf Association (MGA) and Women’s Golf Association (WGA) will be on hand to meet and greet attendees and discuss ways new and potential members can get involved with the club, as well as discuss options and registration information for summer junior camps and beginner adult golf courses.
