)-- Michael J. Hensley, CFP®, ChFC®, AIFA®, of Guardian Capital Advisors, LLC, a firm specializing in retirement plans as well as financial advice for individuals and businesses, has announced that the firm is expanding with its new hires of Maddy Carlson and DeAnn J. Alphin.
Carlson is joining the firm as client relations and marketing coordinator. In this position, she will be responsible for providing client services and improving client relations through social media as well as coordinating marketing and public relations initiatives. Carlson began her career in Washington, D.C., on the marketing team for 3Pillar Global, a software product development company, and then moved back to Raleigh to work for a startup company, Avelist. Carlson, a Raleigh native, earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a French minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Alphin will be serving as client relations and office administrator. In this position, she will assist with community outreach and client service management. Previously, Alphin worked as the office manager and systems engineer coordinator for the software company, Electronic Commerce. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and marketing from NC State University. A native of Statesville, N.C., Alphin resides in Raleigh with her husband and three children.
