Ali Youssef Earns CWNE®, One of the Top 10 Most Difficult Designations in the IT Industry

)-- CWNP, LLC (Certified Wireless Network Professional), has announced Ali Youssef as the newest Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE®), obtaining the most advanced skills available in the current enterprise Wi-Fi market. Youssef is the 133rd person worldwide to hold this prestigious title, which has been recognized as one of the 10 most difficult designations to earn throughout the entire IT industry. CWNE certification confirms that wireless professionals have mastered skills to design, install, configure, administer and troubleshoot wireless network systems. Additionally, CWNE professionals are adept at advanced design, protocol analysis, intrusion detection and prevention, performance and quality of service (QoS) analysis, and spectrum analysis and management.
Youssef earned a bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, and he began his career as a biomedical engineer before shifting his focus to information technology in 2003. Currently, he is a member of the mHIMSS advisory council and the AAMI Wireless Strategy Task Force. Youssef works as a senior wireless enterprise architect at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. In addition to the CWNE certification, he holds PMP, CPHIMS and ITILV3 certifications.
As a passionate advocate for mobile health (mHealth) growth and adoption, Youssef has authored several wireless-related articles in national publications, including Healthcare Design Magazine and Modern Healthcare. He has also co-authored a book, Wi-Fi Enabled Healthcare, which will be published in early 2014.
