Dunedin, FL Networking Group Generates Over $5,000,000 in Annual Business

Dunedin City Official Acknowledges Achievement During International Networking Week

Dunedin, FL, February 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As the Success Alliance chapter of Business Network International (BNI) enters its eighth year, it has again broken a record in passing more than $5,000,000 in business revenue for its members in the last 12 months. The Dunedin chapter had over 1,300 visitors to the chapter, and 20,000 business referrals passed between members, resulting in more than $16,000,000 in closed business since the chapter’s inception in October, 2006.

“Made up of entrepreneurial professionals, our chapter is on a ‘mission for more,’ passing more quality referrals among members and generating a higher percentage of new business from referrals,” reported Carrie Jannazo, Success Alliance's chapter president. “The BNI referral system delivers business from new clients that they would otherwise not likely have, and it's not just local accounts. You have to see this group in action to believe it,” she said.

Success Alliance will be recognized during International Networking Week, February 3-7 with a Proclamation by Dunedin’s Mayor or City Commissioner to acknowledge the chapter and raise awareness of networking in the community. The chapter leaders have invited many local dignitaries, members of Chamber Groups, Rotaries and Women’s Groups. BNI supports all networking groups and encourages their members to network together.

BNI was founded in 1985 by Ivan Misner, Ph.D., author of Masters of Success, Masters of Networking, Business by Referral and The World's Best Known Marketing Secret. “Our style of networking is based on the philosophy of Givers Gain – if I help you, then you'll help me, and we will all do more business,” says Misner.

BNI chapters allow only one seat per profession, so members don’t have to compete for business within their own chapters. BNI West Central Florida has 44 active chapters, and Pinellas County presently has eight. Success Alliance currently has 67 members and is a “Founders Award” chapter – recognized in the top 10% of all chapters in the world.

Success Alliance invites business professionals to attend its meetings. They are held every Tuesday from 7:15 - 9:00 a.m. in the DuBois Center on the campus of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 750 San Salvador Drive in Dunedin. Each meeting includes open networking for all in attendance and formal introduction to the current members. The cost is $10.00 per person and includes a catered continental breakfast.

“Visitors are invited to assess this opportunity to see and learn the secrets of how businesses thrive on word of mouth or referral-based marketing,” says Tom Fleming, executive director for the organization.
