)-- Detectamet’s choice of metal detectable and hygienic tools and equipment for the food industry is unequalled. Just one part of that range is the expanding selection of metal detectable clip boards to help food producers maintain high levels of food safety.
“We have worked hard to supply a large number of options required by the food industry,” said Detectamet’s CEO Sean Smith “and we have made it simple to find the right metal detectable clip board for the job it is going to do.”
Detectamet has clip boards to hold A3, A4 or A5 documents, and then the clip can be fitted to match document’s alignment. For example a clip at the top of the A4 board for a ‘portrait’ aligned document is useless if the document is landscape format. The document will flap over the edge. “Our production department has staff trained to install the right clip in the right position,” Sean explained.
There is also a choice of four clips to suit different needs, specifications or budget. These include the latest 100 percent stainless steel clip and a new clip with a secure pen holder incorporated. There is also the option to add a stainless steel rollover clip that lets the user hang the board from a rail or bar.
The food industry uses colour coding to keep food safety simple, and Detectamet offers eight colour options in the metal detectable plastic clipboard range. These can work for example by choosing a red clip board for use only in high risk areas and a brown one can be allocated for use in low risk departments.
“One enquirer told me the choice was excellent but he was disappointed because the one thing he would really like is to have his name on his clipboard,” said Sean “We introduced our personal engraving service 6 months ago.”
“By combining the choice of metal detectable plastic boards with our stainless steel and aluminium ranges, I believe that Detectamet offers the biggest food safe clipboard choice in the world, a total of over 400 boards,” Sean stated.
