Richard E. DeVaughn Becomes a Prestigious NACD Fellow

DeVaughn of Charlotte, North Carolina has become an NACD Fellow, the highest level of credentialing for corporate directors and corporate governance professionals. Richard currently serves as a director on the board of The Deaconess Foundation and is its former two-term Chairman.

As an NACD Fellow, Mr. DeVaughn has demonstrated his knowledge of the leading trends and practices that define exemplary corporate governance today and has committed to developing professional insights through a sophisticated course of ongoing study.

Mr. DeVaughn is President and CEO of The Arcadia Group International LLC and is a highly respected senior executive and who has served as a key enterprise team member responsible for global manufacturing and technology operations, research & development, strategic planning, and product development in the consumer, industrial and commercial product sectors. As the founding partner of an international consulting firm, he is keenly aware that enterprise leaders desire and respond to strategic coaching that enable achievement of revenue and profit growth goals. Additionally, he has extensive international experience in establishing and leading technology and product development operations in India, China and Eastern Europe. Further, he has served on university, trade association, and not-for-profit boards in significant leadership positions.

DeVaughn, an ICF Professional Certified Coach and native of Dayton, Ohio, is a graduate of General Motors Institute, now Kettering University, where he received a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology as an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow where he earned a Master of Science degree in Management.
