Ex-UK Military Get Ready for Business Life with PMI

Meriden, United Kingdom, March 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Process Management International (PMI), providers of business improvement training and consultancy services around the world for 30 years, has been approved as a Preferred Supplier to the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), the official provider of Armed Forces Resettlement.

Now, military personnel leaving the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and Marines, can access high quality approved Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and Change Leader training taking place throughout the UK and Germany.

About the accreditation, Susannah Clarke, Managing Partner at PMI and head of PMI’s public training programme said; “Over 20,000 service leavers come on to the civilian job market through the CTP each year. We are absolutely thrilled to be providing this important service to these highly skilled personnel as they transition into the business world, through our pubic training schedule.”

By taking part in PMI’s operational excellence and business improvement focused training, military personnel will be able to combine their considerable experience with proven methodology, tools and techniques to become a real asset in any business environment.

As Susannah Clarke, explains; “Ex-military personnel already have an implicit understanding of leadership. They know how to solve problems, and work with diverse teams in difficult situations. Our courses offer the techniques and methodology to allow them to really think through their approach so they can replicate it in a business environment. In addition, the public courses are a great way to learn from other businesses and delegates and understand the context of their challenges.”

To achieve preferred supplier status, PMI went through a rigorous application process. In addition to proving their suitability and experience of delivering improvement focused training, PMI had to demonstrate how they respond to customer feedback and act upon it, how training and quality audits are delivered – including training content, the consultant trainers and the overall customer experience - and provide references from satisfied clients.

The seven PMI courses now available for ex-military personnel to book are:
• Black Belt Conversion and Full Six Sigma Black Belt
• Continuous Improvement Practitioner
• Change Leader
• Foundation Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Full Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Yellow Belt
