Mr. Braun studied Business Management and Real Estate at Ottawa University and the University of California (UCLA). He has been in the Real Estate Lending and Investment Banking arena since 1965. He was a Board Member of Heller Financial Corporation and President of Heller Real Estate Finance Corp. Besides administrating a billion dollar annual lending program for commercial real estate, he also managed a two and half billion dollar loan portfolio. During his tenure at Heller, once of his proudest accomplishments was being part of a team that saved the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company from being liquidated by AMF, which proved to be one of the biggest commercial success stories in American history. He has received numerous professional awards throughout his career. He is a member of the Southern California Investment Association and is on the Board of Trustees of Ottawa University. In his free time he enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
