Certified Wireless Network Professionals Certifies Its First Authorized Learning Partner in Africa

IT Certification Firm Launches Partnership to Connect with Professionals in New International Markets.

Durham, NC, May 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- CWNP, LLC (Certified Wireless Network Professional), has announced that the International Centre for Professional Development (ICPD) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State (FUNAAB), a premiere IT training provider based in Nigeria, has become its first Authorized Learning Partner (ALP) in Africa.

The ALP partnership utilizes CWNP official student courseware and employs or contracts Certified Wireless NetworkTrainers (CWNTs) to deliver CWNP training classes. ICPD, FUNAAB is the first institution in Africa to partner with CWNP, and allows CWNP to be connected to new international markets. The institution plans to utilize the ALP services to create a learning hub for IT professionals in Africa.

Lawrence OLabisi Kazeem, the pioneer centre manager of ICPD, FUNAAB, is a 14-year veteran of the wireless industry. Kazeem serves as network administrator for ICPD, FUNAAB. Previously, he was senior network administrator at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti and senior system analyst at FUNAAB. Kazeem has also worked as network and system manager at Wonder Network Technologies, sales and systems manager at Castlat Telecommunication Ltd. and system engineer at Excellent Speed Technologies Ltd. and Bancent Computers. Additionally, Kazeem has achieved Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification, which is an administrator level career certification for networkers who understand RF behavior, site surveying, installation and basic enterprise Wi-Fi security. He has been an instructor of CWNA the last three years.
