In addition to allowing for CWNP to enter new international markets and expand its global presence, Sang is able to share knowledgeable insight with colleagues, clients and others in the wireless industry thanks to being a CWNE® professional. Now holding these extremely technical skills covered by this designation, Sang is adept at advanced design, protocol analysis, intrusion detection and prevention, performance and quality of service (QoS) analysis, and spectrum analysis and management.
With nine years of experience in IP networking and wireless technology, Sang serves as a network consultant with a focus on wireless and mobility. In his role, he is responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing enterprise wireless networks and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solutions. Additionally, Sang works on LAN architectures, security, voice over WLAN and location and content aware services. Prior to his current role, he spent several years working on outdoor Wi-Fi systems, troubleshooting complex wireless network issues. Early in his career, Sang participated in a Wi-Fi project in Ipoh, the first wireless city in Malaysia, and he traveled frequently to the United States, Kenya, Taiwan, Malaysia and China to provide support in network deployment and training activities to customers. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering (Information and Communication Engineering) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
