)-- NHCR, a leading provider of point of sale and network security solutions for restaurants and retailers, today announced that longtime employee David Tendler has been promoted to the newly created post of general manager, effective immediately. In his new position, he will continue in his current role as support manager while taking on additional responsibilities in the areas of sales, marketing and operations. He will continue to report to NHCR president and chief executive officer Arthur Rosenbaum.
“David has been an integral part of NHCR for 27 years. He has worked his way through our organization in several different roles while always maintaining a professional approach and ‘get it done’ attitude. During the last few years he has taken on the role of support manager and once again has done an excellent job,” said Mr. Rosenbaum. “We are delighted to be promoting David and I look forward to continuing to work with him in his expanded role.”
As general manager, Mr. Tendler will be responsible for managing all day to day activities for the Company which include supporting NHCR’s sales, implementation and support activities using the tools, processes, procedures and infrastructure the Company needs to ensure long–term growth, operational consistency, and enhanced consumer experiences.

A resident of Guilford, Connecticut, Mr. Tendler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Babson College.
