European Manufacturing Leadership Award Nominees Revealed

London, United Kingdom, August 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- To celebrate the first 10 years for the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit, WTG Events are launching a special industry Award – The European Manufacturing Leadership Award - designed to recognise an individual who has demonstrated pioneering leadership in driving excellence, performance and competitiveness within European manufacturing.

The shortlisted leaders are Jochen Ruehl, Director, GTM PS FemCare One Europe of Procter & Gamble; Bob Spooner, CEO of Hovis; Guillaume Vendroux, Vice President, Industrial of Alstom Transport; Rob Karsmakers, VP and GM Panel Commodity Team/Site Manager of Philips Consumer Lifestyle.

The chosen European Manufacturing Leader will be invited to address the delegation at the 10th Anniversary Manufacturing Leadership Award dinner, held at the 10th Annual European Manufacturing Strategies Summit on 28 October, in Düsseldorf.

With commodity prices continuing to increase, new technologies driving process change, and customers demanding greater flexibility in production, the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit will provide the latest insights into how to achieve continuous improvement and productivity gains across global operations. The agenda will also focus on the advent of Industry 4.0 and the implications for skills development.
