Army Security Force at Moffett Federal Airfield Under Training Led by Hostile Control Tactics

129th Security Forces Squadron at Moffett Federal Airfield in Northern California Complete Less-than-Lethal Options Training Led by HCT.

Washington, DC, July 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Training started in early March and lasted through June 2015. Military police and security personnel in Northern California underwent some of the toughest training in the industry.

“The U.S. Army’s 129th Security Force Squadron at Moffett Federal Airfield have established a higher standard of professionalism by completing first responder training of this nature,” said Kevin James, CEO of Hostile Control Tactics.

Under the leadership of Army SSG Ly Van Le, (a certified Master Trainer with HCT), these police officers and security specialist know how to assess and respond to a wide range of threats using verbal judo and non-lethal weapons as the first line of defense.

Using the Hostile Control Tactics methodology, they move with blinding speed, efficient and accuracy. When the dust settles so to speak, the officers never touch their pistol unless lethal force is absolutely necessary.

“You’ll notice something interesting in our force-on-force scenarios,” explained Le. “When officers confront someone who appears to be an unresponsive or even potentially aggressive, they never touch firearm. We continuously shout a series of verbal commands to better assess what we’re really dealing with. Is the subject hearing impaired? Distracted by something the officer doesn’t know? Or, perhaps the subject psychologically unstable.” These issues are thoroughly addressed, taught and practiced in HCT courses.

Less-than-lethal weapons such as verbal commands with proper body triangulation, OC pepper spray, a Taser, or a baton are preferred weapons in these circumstances according to Hostile Control Tactics. Deadly force is the absolute final option.

Kevin D. James presented certificates of competency to soldiers and local area police officers in attendance who successfully completed training.
