Fairfield Harbour Installs New President and Re-Elects Two Board of Directors to Property Owners Association

Local Boating and Golf Community Installs Ann Simpson as President and Re-elects Community Leaders William Beery and Wayne Strasbaugh

New Bern, NC, July 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that Ann Simpson has been installed as the new president of the Fairfield Harbour Property Owners Association (FHPOA) board of directors. Larry Knapp, who has served as the board’s president for the past seven years, did not seek re-election due to term limits.

In addition, community members William Beery and Wayne Strasbaugh have been re-elected to the board of directors. Members of the FHPOA board serve three-year terms, and Beery and Strasbaugh are both beginning their second terms on the board. Other officers include Jim Cline as vice president, Ruth Mitchell as secretary and Paul Hill as treasurer.

The FHPOA board of directors is responsible for setting policy, rules and regulations for Fairfield Harbour as authorized by the articles of incorporation, community bylaws, the North Carolina Planned Community Act and the North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act. Throughout their term, the board members will act as a town council or county commission for the Fairfield Harbour community.
