STONEYARD® Announces Plans for Relocation and Expansion to a Growing New Hampshire Community

Littleton, MA, July 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- STONEYARD®, a natural stone veneer products manufacturer (www.stoneyard.com), has announced plans to move its extensive operation, including a corporate office and manufacturing facility, from Littleton, MA to a new 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Milford, NH. This move will generate additional jobs and tax revenue for the town. Plans also include a showroom and distribution center.

For over 25 years, STONEYARD®, a third generation company, has been delivering New England stone to a nationwide audience through a large network of building and masonry supply dealers, throughout the United States. The move was necessitated by the significant growth the company has experienced over the last few years. “This is an extremely exciting time for the entire STONEYARD® team. We are thrilled about moving to the Granite Town in the Granite State and bringing jobs to Milford. We plan to begin construction later this year,” said Ben Croteau, COO of STONEYARD®.

The relocation will not only create additional jobs for a growing community, but will also be a resource for the town. “The opportunities are exciting and fit well into the overall industrial base for Milford. The development will add significant value to the Town’s tax base for future years,” said Mark Fougere, Board Chairman.

An extensive team has been developed to facilitate the move, including local representative Cynthia Harrington with the Division of Economic Development who is assembling the town of Milford, Monadnock Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and the NH Community Development Finance Authority. “It’s amazing how many different entities it takes to complete a project of this magnitude. I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with on this project. We are grateful to Senator Kelly Ayotte and her staff who helped keep this project moving forward,” said Mr. Croteau.

New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte and her team play a key role in the development of this project by facilitating communication between all parties involved. "I'm delighted that [STONEYARD®] is relocating its headquarters to Milford, which will bring jobs to the area and provide a boost to the local economy. I congratulate Stoneyard on this exciting move, and I'm pleased to officially welcome the entire Stoneyard family to New Hampshire," said Senator Kelly Ayotte.
