· Agency commended for its work with the UK College of English
· “Fantastic achievement,” says marketing director

The recent Kent Digital Awards saw some of the brightest talents in the local digital media gather together to acknowledge those companies that have gone above and beyond the standard in terms of customer service. And, for Folkestone-based digital marketing agency, Whitefish Marketing, the evening proved one of great success.

The inaugural ceremony was hosted by former BBC journalist, Robin Bailey, and featured the presentation of Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards to companies in a host of categories. From mobile apps to responsive websites, digital strategies to excellence in education and tourism activity, the Kent Digital Awards provided companies large and small with the opportunity to receive commendation for the hard work put in to driving the county’s excellence in the digital sphere.

For Whitefish Marketing, who received the Bronze award in the Online Marketing Campaign category, the evening represented the culmination of a successful first year in business.

“It’s a fantastic achievement to have received this award,” said Chris Surridge, Marketing Director at Whitefish Marketing. “It’s been such a whirlwind few months for the business as we’ve developed our customer base and refined our services. The UK College of English has been one of those clients that we have worked with for some time now, so to receive such an award enables us to feel proud of our achievements.

“To even be able to attend the Kent Digital Awards this year marks a significant step in the direction we’re choosing to head. Being nominated alongside some of the brightest talents in the industry means a lot, and it gives us great motivation to continue pursuing the channels on which we’ve focused thus far.”

With the Kent Digital Awards providing businesses across the county with the chance to enjoy industry recognition, it seems certain that the awards themselves will continue to take even greater acclaim in years to come. For those companies fortunate enough to have secured recognition this time around, the importance of such acknowledgement will only serve to deliver greater levels of business success.
