Quick Service Restaurant Trade Journal Launched

Free QSR Report Will Focus on Dynamic Fast-Food Industry.

Louisville, KY, February 09, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The dynamic and ever-expanding Quick Service Restaurant industry now has a watchful eye upon it, in the form of a new free direct report publication that will be sent to thousands of industry decision makers each quarter.

Targeted to management and franchise owners and executives, as well as industry workers in general, The Quick Service Restaurant Report covers the quick service or “fast food” industry from McDonald’s to Mexican, focusing on emerging trends, products and technologies.

“Decision makers in the QSR segment will be able to learn more than they ever thought possible by subscribing to this new publication,” QSR Report Publisher Paul Barron said. “Our first issue covers everything from choosing a point-of-sale system to expanding brands to new methods for ensuring safety in the workplace.”

QSR Report will distribute 10,000 copies quarterly; the publication’s online companion, QSRWeb.com, receives more than 160,000 visitors per month and is the longest-running source for news on the Quick Service industry. In fact, site visits for QSRWeb.com more than doubled from 2002-2005.

In addition, restaurant industry sales are expected to reach a record $511 billion in 2006, according to the National Restaurant Association's 2006 Restaurant Industry Forecast. Quick service restaurants are projected to register sales of $142.4 billion in 2006, a gain of 5 percent over 2005. Consumer demand for convenience and value will continue to drive this growth, and all of these factors could point to parallel growth for QSR Report.

“Expansion in the marketplace is our goal,” Barron said. “This is a huge opportunity not only for key decision makers to stay abreast on the latest trends, but for suppliers to get their messages in front of QSR operators and executives in a custom-publishing format.”

The publication is owned by NetWorld Alliance. NetWorld, based in Louisville, Ky., also publishes Fast Casual magazine and Pizzeria Operator Summary, the latter of which is a similar trade journal that covers the pizza industry.
