Peak Security Officer Saves a Choking Victim's Life

Loren Hill, Security Officer for Peak Security saves the life of a female choking victim by performing Heimlich maneuver.

Salt Lake City, UT, April 24, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Quick thinking and response of a Peak Security officer helps save a women's life from accidental choking. At approximately 3:00 pm on April 20, 2017, Peak Security Officer, Loren Hill, saved the life of a Choking victim at the Orem, Utah Driver License Division. He used the Techniques of the Back Blows and the Heimlich maneuver. A woman was choking and could not breathe. Loren used his training and successfully dislodged the item at the ovation of the customers and employees. Peak Security trains all officers in classroom study before being put on duty and conforms to the state of Utah Department Of Public Safety (DOPL) requirements. Utah's rigorous requirements mandate security officers receive a certificate of completion of 24-hours of classroom training with a score of at least 80%. Officer Hill has been nominated for the Don Thomas Security Officer of the Year Award. This award is used to recognize and acknowledge security officers who demonstrate sustained superior service to their organizations.
